Our Summer Salad Workshop was held on a beautiful Saturday morning in May at Hum Garden, Thao Dien. At the inner garden, surrounded by greenery and flowers, we welcomed our guests to learn how to make one of our newest salad recipes, the dragonfruit salad. It was such a charming scene to witness everyone gathered together around a big long table to attentively listen to Hum's head chef giving a step-by-step cooking demonstration for a special salad dressing. As the people who assist behind the scenes, we can't help but be mesmerized by the bright pink colors of dragonfruit, red of spiny bitter gourd and green of shining bush. All that very "summer" color created such an vibrant dish from these common ingredients found in Vietnam.
